YINKA ADEDEJI QUITS FOOTBALL FOR SCHOOL.

Ex Flying Eagles and Nigeria National U-23 defender, Adedeji Michael Adeyinka has left the NPFL in pursuit of a career in Sports Management studies in the United States of America.
The Shooting Stars left-full back who had fifteen goals assists last season has dumped plying his trade in the domestic league to secure a future for himself abroad.
Adedeji, who was part of the Nigeria National U-20 team that finished second in 2005 FIFA U-20 World Club in Netherland, the team managed by Samson Siasia won the 2005 African U-20 Nations Cup in Benin Republic.
Adedeji, born on March 24, 1985 in Lagos went on loan to Pyunik FC in Yerevan in 2010 and played in the 2010 UEFA Champions League qualifiers against Serbian champions FK Partizan Belgrade. He has also played for defunct Sharks FC and Sunshine Stars.
"I have to take this bold decision, there is life after football and I have to prepare for such life. It wasn't easy quitting the NPFL for school but it is important I build a new life after football," Adedeji said to Naijafootballplus.com from his base in Florida, USA.
"Honestly, football in Nigeria is difficult for us (Players) to be a successful professional. The environment is not suitable, too many challenges.
"Many footballers don't plan for retirement, I have played the game to my satisfaction and I was certain it is right time to prepare for life after football.
"I wish to advise
my other colleagues to think deeply and prepare for life after retirement, education is key and important to perfect life after football," Adedeji added.
